ANCSA provided that 43.7 million acres of public land are to be transferred to the regional and village corporations. Tozitna's share will be approximately 139,126 acres of timber and surface estate. As of September 30, 2012, Tozitna has received interim conveyance to 127,092 acres of land (surface rights only).  This land is currently recorded at zero value until such time as the fair market value can be determined.
